ABOUT FENCE-LOK™ 

THE CHALLENGE

To provide a strong, secure and zero trip foundation option for temporary or permanent fencing. The system can be used in areas of soft ground or hard standing without the use of a composite or concrete block foot.​​

OUR SOLUTION

  1. Our Fence-Lok™ bracket system is comprised of a ground-penetrating screw for soft ground or an anchor bolt for hard standing, along with a compact lightweight bracket & locking strap

  2. The system is designed to enable fence panels to be installed and secured within a small footprint which also provides a zero trip solution

  3. Locked into position the system prevents unsolicited tampering, therefore would need to be criminally damaged to be disturbed

  4. The bracket system design does not encourage wildlife to nest, therefore negating any delay in removal when required

BRACKET INSTALLATION

SOIL & GRASSED AREAS

The Fence-Lok System can be rapidly installed and dismantled as illustrated in the videos above and below.

Our ground screws can be simply installed in soil and grass areas using a petrol-driven impact driver which offers a competitive option in comparison to other fencing installation methods. The impact drivers are readily available from national hire stores.

We recognise breaking ground on occasions may require a 'Permit To Dig', however carrying out a CAT scan or GPR survey (Ground Penetrating Radar) prior to installation will identify if there are any underground services that you need to avoid. As the ground screw is installed to a depth of only 450mm in most cases they should not interfere with services laid to regulated standards.

HARD STANDING

The system can also be used on hardstanding surfaces such as concrete and tarmac areas, this can be achieved by fixing an anchor bolt through the bracket and securing it into the ground. 

TEMPORARY WORKS DESIGN 

We understand providing a strong and safe fence is paramount when securing a new compound or working site.

Fence-Lok can supply on-site load testing and provide Temporary Works designs that comply with BS5975 for any site. 

 

We work closely with MJA Consulting to provide design and check certification for your temporary works requirements.
